About 27 years ago my parent used to work with a man named Pete Fairclough. They became good friends with him and, even though he moved to America, have maintained this friendship. A few years ago he and his family flew over to England to visit his relatives. Whilst they were here they came to stay at our house. Apparently this happened twice but I only remember meeting them once. Last year, my family went on holiday to the east coast of the USA (more details of the holiday here and here) and our final stop on the journey was to their house. We had so much fun with them so this year they've come to England to stay with us.
They've been to stay with Pete's family and visited the Lake District and today they're driving down to our house. They'll be here sometime this afternoon and I'm taking Sandy, who's my age, to the park to meet some of my friends. We're taking them to Mallham Cove tomorrow and then out for tea. I'm not sure what we're doing on Thursday because they leave then and we have to finish packing for Canada. I'm going to edit this blog and add pictures soon but it may be after I get back from Canada.
Yesterday I filmed at 'Summer Favourites' with Rachel but I'm not going to have time to edit it till after Canada so there will be about 4 new videos (3 vlogs and a video) after then to make up for the weeks I've missed. I'm starting a new blog series when I get back called 'The Bridesmaid Diaries' because I'm being a Bridesmaid for my cousin's wedding, which I am soooo excited about. I'm going to write about the dresses, the hen do, the hair, the wedding and all the other little things that may happen so be sure to read them. This may be my last blog for a while as we're having guests and I'm going away. I may get a chance to blog whilst in Canada but I won't be able to add any pictures or anything cause I'll be using my IPad. So goodbye and I'll see you in a few weeks.

Welcome to my new home!
Hello and welcome to VlogStandard!
So this is my first blog on this website, before this I previously blogged on tumblr. I loved tumblr but I found it very difficult to use as I am used to just reblogging things and not writing my own posts. I've heard very good reviwes of this website and one of my favourite bloggers (Zoella) uses it too. Incase you were wondering who I am, I'm Georgina, I'm fourteen and I'm from the north west of England. I blog about differnt things. In the past its usually been about my day but I am hoping to blog about different beauty products that I like, clothes, and how I am dealing with being a teenager. Just random things basically.
I'm not big on beauty products but I am a lover of skin care. I have a lot of different skin care products that I use. Some of my favourites being Clean & Clear's 'Advantage Spot Treatment Gel' and No.7's 'Protect and Perfect' Night Cream. I will hopefully be trying out lots of new products over the course of the next year in order to find the perfect skin care routine. Enough about that though.
I like to travel a lot but being only fourteen the only time I get out of my town is if my family are taking me somewhere. This summer I'm going to Canada so I will write a blog about that. In the past I've been to the USA, France, Malta, Spain, Portugal, Belgium etc. The furthest I've ever travelled is to the USA but in the next few years my family has plans to visit places like Australia, Africa and China. I make vlogs and post them on my youtube channel which can be found here. I haven't uploaded any yet as I need to edit them. I've vlogged my day at Alton Towers, The Making Of Harry Potter and the National Space Centre. They will be up soon. I hope.
Yeah I'm going to end this blog now cause I have to go to sleep. I'm getting up around 5am tomorrow for Ice Skating.
